According to meteorological forecasts, the period of high temperatures in the summer of 2011 will last longer and be more intense than in previous years. In response, Huawai Chemical organized and launched a quality and safety project themed "Fight High Temperatures, Ensure Safety."
1. Prevent heatstroke among workers and ensure their physical health; strengthen publicity and education, and emergency rescue training to improve workers' awareness of high-temperature prevention and self-protection capabilities.
2. Provide "high-temperature care" to company employees, distributing herbal medicine, topical pain relief, beverages, and electrolyte drinks daily to effectively prevent heatstroke incidents.
3. Production workshops have reasonably arranged working hours and strictly controlled overtime to effectively avoid high-temperature periods while ensuring the smooth completion of all tasks. The office has also maintained and improved the air conditioning system, creating a comfortable rest and working environment for employees.
4. The company plans to organize monthly fire safety inspections, conduct fire hazard investigations and rectification work, and strengthen control over hot work and tools.
